 Valentine’s Day reminds me of how much we love to receive gifts. I remember when I was young how much fun we had writing out the valentines for our classmates, getting chocolates from my dad when he would come home that day and the flowers that seemed to be everywhere you looked leading up to Over the years everyone has gotten busier and busier so our offerings in the deli have evolved to help make your life a little easier. Festival Foods has developed an awesome Turkey Dinner that is getting more and more popular. Guests are realizing that the quality is just like homemade and most people would rather I was recently re-introduced to our “Sunday Hot Ham.” Given that I work at Festival and am very involved with the deli, I’m sure it sounds odd that I had to be re-introduced to this very popular item. What I mean is my wife recently came home from a Sunday morning shopping trip to Festival Summer is here and the picnic season is in full swing! Potato salad and its many variations will be front and center for nearly every get together during the next 3 months. No matter what part of the Midwest you live in, I’m sure that you have eaten potato salad. We flip-flopped the service area with our salad bar/hot bar island.
