Valentine’s Day Dinner by Festival Foods

Alas, Valentine’s Day — at least in my house — cannot be chalked up to a ‘Hallmark Holiday.’

No, friends. It’s a thing. And it’s been a thing for a while.

But being a thing doesn’t automatically make it difficult. That’s where we come in. And by ‘we’ in this case, I mean Festival Foods’ amazing deli. Our deli associates have put together an outstanding meal that takes just a little time to pull together …

Ah, new year resolutions. They range from small changes — “I’ll wash my face before bed every night” — to those really big ones of the life-changing variety that can include everything from “I’m going to quit smoking,” to “I’m going to lose 20 pounds.” Those especially lofty ones, however, don’t seem to stick …

NYE Dinner: 1, 2, 3 (courses)

Count me among those ‘boring adults’ who would much rather have a nice dinner at home on New Year’s Eve than battling crowded bars or waiting for a table at a restaurant.

Getting part of the Big Cheese

Cheese is just a part of life in Wisconsin and the holiday season in the Dairyland call for something a little extra special.

Well, we’re having “extra special” meet “extra big” at our Sheboygan location this month. Between Dec. 18 and Dec. 20, our associates at that store will be cutting a 555 pound wheel of cheddar cheese made by actual cheesemakers at Henning’s Wisconsin Cheese in rural Manitowoc County.
