 Saturday, December 5 marked the fifth annual Festival of Lights at Lambeau Field in Green Bay. The free, family-friendly event kicked off at 5:00 pm with a school choir performing traditional Christmas songs, holiday card making, and photo taking with Santa. The cookie decorating station was a big hit with the kids! A big thank I am thankful for all who attended this year’s Festival Foods Turkey Trot. The weather was a bit worrisome in the days leading up to the event, but it ended up being a nice day…for November in Wisconsin anyway! I participated in the Green Bay event and it was fun to see kids in strollers At Festival Foods, our Wine and Spirits Department continues to grow! We’ve brought some great new programs and products to you this year and I am encouraged by the response we’ve received thus far. The new “Bin 75” section, our top 75 wines under $10, is very popular and proving to be a helpful solution for Each year during the fall I do what is known as “Back Room Tours” here at Festival Foods. It’s a time for me to visit each of our locations – each location twice actually – in a two week period to update the associates on how the company is doing and our plans for the My wife and I recently returned from an overseas trip. Although I wasn’t excited about being away from Festival for a week, it gave me time to catch up on some reading I’ve been neglecting. So, I thought it would be fitting for me to write a quick blog about the new store before it opens. It was nice to spend the week with my wife and two daughters in a place that holds so many memories for me.
